Overview:
The “18 Pre-Cast Schools in Kirkuk City” project is a pioneering initiative by Saqer Al-Manar Company that revolutionized the construction of educational facilities in Iraq. The company introduced the pre-cast construction system, which was approved after extensive discussions with local authorities. One of the major reasons for adopting this system was to reduce construction time significantly, ensuring faster delivery without compromising quality.
To support this innovative approach, Saqer Al-Manar invested in a pre-cast factory in Kirkuk. In collaboration with Hilar Company, an Italian firm known for its excellence in pre-cast manufacturing, the company brought advanced technology and expertise directly to Iraq.
Key Features:
Efficient Construction:
The pre-cast system drastically reduced construction time while maintaining high standards of quality.
Enhanced Building Features:
Schools were equipped with thermal and acoustic insulation, double-glazed windows, and heating and cooling systems, providing a comfortable learning environment.
Recreational Spaces:
Each site included playgrounds and football pitches, promoting physical activity among students.
Strategic Investment:
The pre-cast factory established in Kirkuk ensured access to state-of-the-art manufacturing, bolstered by Italian expertise.
Impact:
This project set a new benchmark for educational infrastructure in Iraq. By addressing critical challenges in the sector, including prolonged construction timelines and subpar facilities, Saqer Al-Manar has provided a sustainable solution that enhances the educational experience for students across Kirkuk.
